So how does it all work, and what happens next?
Once you have made a call to us (or if you leave a message, we return your call), we will go through the following process:
- Step 1:
We talk to you about your current situation, find out about the property, its location, size, type and so on
- Step 2:
We will tell you on the phone whether it is a problem we can help you with, and will arrange an appointment to come and see you
- Step 3:
At the appointment we will need to see all the people on the title, and any documentation you have about your original purchase of the property, as well as any documentation about the problem you are having, if any
- Step 4:
We will examine the documents, and the house, and propose a solution.
- Step 5:
We sign a binding agreement to sell/purchase the property for the agreed price
- Step 6:
We arrange the paperwork for the sale of the property
- Step 7:
We exchange final contracts for the sale, and you receive a cheque
In some instances, where there is damage, or disrepair, we may have trades-people examine the house (at your convenience) during the process.
Except in unusual situations, that is really all there is to it. You will quickly be moving on with your life, with the relief of knowing your troubles are behind you.
